Welcome to Fluxus Haus
FLUXUS HAUS INC. is a 501 (c) 3 that provides educational, curatorial, and performance opportunities for artists and organizations working on the periphery. Through mentorship, working opportunities, formal training, grant writing services, and artist development we connect emerging and mid-career artists with established networks through strategic partnerships. Fluxus collaborations are diverse in scope and encompass a multifarious network of artists, community partners, and event producers. To date, the organization has raised over 1.5M for independent artists, art based organizations, and community centers throughout the United States. "In Fluxus, there has never been any attempt to agree on aims or methods; individuals with something unnamable in common have simply naturally coalesced to publish and perform their work." Perhaps this common something is a feeling that the bounds of art are much wider than they have conventionally seemed, or that art and certain long-established bounds are no longer very useful," George Brecht. |
